EXCELLENT family stay!
ample spacecomfortable mattressquiet block
i enjoyed the spacious suite it had ample room for my family. the mattress and linens were comfy and the showers had excellent water pressure. THE suite was in a quiet block near restaurants.
the hotel breakfast options are somewhat limited.

breakfast is on the fifth floor the breakfast room is small there is tasty coffee alongside traditional portuguese pastries available there are also not many tables for the amount of guests.

the hotel is VERY close to the main shopping street. MANY establishments are nearby including places to eat traditional portuguese food. the hotel is a short distance from the metro stations.

the staff were really friendly AND accommodating. the staff are ready to assist with any requests to improve your stay. anna at the reception was AMAZING when we arrived early.

The staff was accommodating. I arrived early and they let me check in three hours before the scheduled time.. the facility includes an underground private garage, a great feature since i had a rental car. housekeeping did a good job each day as well.
The noise from other guests was noticeable. I think the sound isolation isn't great.

the staff helped with all our questions. the suite we had was spacious.
i found mold in the bathroom, specifically in the shower area. there were no tissues and no washcloths provided. it was a bit disappointing.

mixed feelings about the stay
cheap sheetsterrible view
I was quite disappointed with the lack of attention to detail. the sheets felt cheap and weren't very comfortable. the view from my room was also underwhelming. I faced a less-than-scenic part of the area. the breakfast didn't quite meet my expectations. The scrambled eggs tasted artificial.

Charming Spot for a City Break

the room had two comfy beds and was very clean. cleaning was done daily which i liked. i really appreciated the private underground garage, specially since i had rented a car. the hotel location was good, close to the market and major attractions.
the room lacked washcloths, it was a minor thing.

the front desk folks were very helpful. i got an early check in. storing luggage after checkout was possible, a very kind gesture. the staff offered good restaurant recommendations.
